Candelabra requirements
Light poles (so-called candelabra) have the important task as "light carriers" to "ensure" the lighting. The requirements are high: So candelabra must withstand any weather on the one hand and on the other hand visually blend into the environment.
Today, candelabras exist in various basic shapes, the most common being conical, cylindrical, cylindrical stepped and conical with boom (whip). Thanks to the standardized diameter at the tip (pigtail), each shape is suitable for all common types of lamps.
All standard conical candelabra in our portfolio comply with the European standard EN 40 and are CE-marked.

Steel candelabra
Whip and standing steel candelabra - The popular classics
Steel candelabra are the most common in Switzerland and are thus considered classics in street lighting. The optimal price-performance ratio makes steel the most popular material for candelabra. In addition, steel is also ideal for the manufacture of special solutions. Hot-dip galvanizing protects the surface against corrosion and ensures a long service life.
Fiber optic candelabra
Fiberglass candelabra provide high security & resistance.
Fiberglass is the material for impressive robustness. Thanks to the nature of the material, fiberglass candelabras offer the highest passive safety compared to candelabras made of steel or aluminum. In addition, that has fiberglass the highest corrosion resistance to chemicals and road salts.
Due to the properties of fiberglass, there is full insulation. The fiberglass candelabra are available in all UV-resistant colors.

Recycle instead of disposeIn collaboration with our supplier, we are in the process of creating a recycling process to reuse fiber optic candelabra in the future instead of disposing of them. The plan includes the following:
- Return/replace
- Reuse/remanufacture (from old to new)
- Reuse (in applications with low requirements)
- Recycling (GRP components are returned to the secondary raw materials market)
