Permanently excited synchronous motors

Permanent magnet excited synchronous motors are a particularly energy-efficient solution.

Reducing CO2 emissions is the great challenge of our time. This means that reducing energy consumption is the order of the day. Modern, speed-controlled electric drive systems in particular offer the opportunity to save maximum energy. Permanent magnet synchronous motors (PM motors) are a particularly energy-efficient solution here.

How it works

In PMSM, permanent magnets in the rotor generate the necessary magnetic field, while the stator with electromagnetic windings is fed by alternating current. Since the rotor field is constant and does not have to be generated electrically, the rotor and stator fields always run synchronously without slip losses.
This ensures precise, low-loss, and efficient power transmission, higher efficiency ratings (IE4 and higher), and optimized partial load behavior.
