What applications are Elektron battery storage systems suitable for?

Elektron storage solutions are suitable for single-family homes as well as for commercial and industrial operations, energy suppliers and farms. They cover output ranges from 50 to 500 kWp and can be expanded on a modular basis. Our outdoor storage systems achieve a capacity of up to 2 MWh.

Who can purchase via Elektron?

ELEKTRON is a B2B dealer and supplies specialist companies in the solar sector in Switzerland. Private individuals are welcome to contact us and will then receive a recommendation from us regarding an installation company in their area.

How quickly can Elektron’s battery storage systems be installed?

As our systems are delivered pre-configured, installation usually takes just a few hours. The effort required depends mainly on the local conditions and integration into the existing energy system.

Do the storage units have an emergency power supply?

Yes, most of our systems are emergency power capable and the emergency power function is integrated as standard. In the event of a power failure, the switchover takes place automatically so that defined consumers continue to be supplied - without additional external hardware. Black start capability is also provided.

Can storage systems be integrated into existing solar power systems?

Yes. If hybrid inverters are used from the outset, storage systems can be retrofitted at any time without replacing the existing PV system. Existing components usually remain fully usable.

Can the storage be expanded at a later date?

Yes. The systems have a modular design and can be easily expanded as energy requirements increase.

What is the economic impact of a storage facility?

A storage system increases the proportion of self-consumption and thus reduces the amount of electricity purchased from the grid. In addition, load peaks can be smoothed out, which can reduce power prices. The battery storage systems that we sell all have high guaranteed cycle values and are therefore extremely durable.
