"The CityClassic was convincing in all respects"
In the course of modernizing the lighting in the old town, IBB Energie AG opted for the CityClassic luminaire range, which blends seamlessly into the historic surroundings. When selecting the luminaire, a key requirement was that it should match the old one in terms of its key features - shape, color and appearance - in order to ensure a high level of acceptance among the population. At the same time, the lighting quality was essential, with the illumination of the room and the glare effect being particularly important issues.</p
The light color was set to 2700K to match the previous lighting and maintain a harmonious cityscape. Before the final decision was made, various sample luminaires were installed and inspected at night, with the CityClassic impressing in all aspects.
With the new luminaire, it was even possible to dispense with various shields, which in turn results in a new, attractive look.
Another advantage was the reduction in shielding, which resulted in a more aesthetically pleasing appearance. The CityClassic luminaires are in use in the old town of Brugg, whereby the existing infrastructure of brackets and masts could continue to be used.
