Planning a modern LED lighting for your football field
When planning, our lighting designers ensure that the entire pitch is evenly illuminated and that light emissions are minimized. After all, the light belongs on the pitch and should not illuminate the surrounding area.
As knowledgeable experts in the lighting of football pitches, our lighting designers plan according to the guidelines of the Swiss Football Association (SFV) and the guidelines of the Swiss Lighting Society (SLG). The guidelines provide clear lighting specifications on how pitches should be illuminated depending on the size of the pitch and the division of play.
After the commissioning of your system, we prove for you, the compliance with the guidelines through our final light measurement and help you to document this for the SFV. This is relevant for you because, according to the Swiss Football Association (SFV), you must have your football pitch photometrically remeasured and tested every five years - we will of course also be happy to support you in this.

Well to see, is this with the admission of the football field of the FC Gossau, which we accompanied from the planning to the successful conversion. In the rear area, another training ground can be seen, which was not yet renovated at the time. The differences in the lighting of the pitch are easy to see - it's hard to believe that the refurbished pitch uses much less energy than the darker one, which was still lit with old floodlights.
Standard arrangements for the installation of the masts
Note: No floodlight poles may be placed in the 15° area because of glare on the goalkeeper.
If it is necessary to deviate from this - e.g. due to light immission or pitch conditions that make these arrangements impossible - the project must be submitted to the SFV for approval in advance.
