Tennis is a fast ball sport. So that players and spectators can follow the action sets high demands on the visibility conditions. Only if the tennis court is evenly illuminated, the tennis ball can also be followed well by the players and spectators during the fast ball changes . Otherwise, the trajectory and speed of flight is difficult to assess correctly.

In order for the tennis players and spectators to properly judge the speed and direction of flight of the tennis ball during the fast ball changes, good lighting is required. Our lighting designers pay attention to both a high lighting level with good color rendering and high contrast values as well as a uniform light distribution over the entire tennis court. This ensures for everyone attending the match - from the players, the referees and any spectators - that the tennis ball (bright) is always clearly visible against the background (dark). Of course, our planners take care that the lighting does not cause glare to the players.
