We keep our promises: 200 birch trees planted with klimaglarus
At last year's EXPO Niederurnen, we promised to plant a tree for every visitor - personally.
No sooner said than done: Together with KlimaGlarus.ch and 20 dedicated volunteers, our sales team Urs Bommer and Simon Stark changed their place of work for a day. Together with KlimaGlarus and 20 dedicated volunteers, they planted around 200 young birch trees in the Glarus forest on April 25, 2026.

One visitor, one tree
For every visitor to our stand, we - that is, our Eastern Switzerland sales team - will plant a tree in Glarus together with our local partner klima glarus in spring 2026.
The group gathered at Schwanden train station at 8 a.m. on the dot. From there, they headed up a winding mountain road together with the forest ranger foreman Martin Weber. The last section was only accessible on foot. Equipped with pickaxes, hedge trimmers, hews and provisions, the route led along a narrow path deeper and deeper into the forest.
Thank you Urs & Simon - and KlimaGlarus.ch for their great, voluntary commitment to a healthy forest that protects, stores CO₂ and provides living space - today and for future generations.
