Motor capacitors

Motor capacitors are used in numerous household machines as well as pumps, compressors and motors. Hydra's models come either non-protected (S0) or protected (S2) - tailored to your needs. The protected motor capacitors are filled with oil. They offer a particularly high safety standard, since the overpressure protection, the S2 capacitor in the event of a failure switches off.

DC-Link capacitors

The DC-Link capacitors - also called DC link capacitors - are filled with polyurethane and epoxy resin. They are used for inverters, UPS, wind power, solar power as well as drive technology.

PFC capacitors

Production machines generate reactive power that loads the grid. To reduce this, capacitors with power factor correction (PFC) are used. The capacitors are filled with gas or oil and are particularly safe thanks to overpressure protection. Hydra manufactures cylindrical PFC capacitors with 1 or 3 phases and up to 50 kvar.
