Hydra produces more than twenty million capacitors per year in two production facilities.
Motor capacitors
Motor capacitors are used in numerous household appliances as well as pumps and compressors. The models from Hydra come either with encapsulated plastic housings without overpressure protection (S0) or in an aluminum housing with overpressure protection (S2) - tailored to your needs.
DC-Link capacitors
DC-Link capacitors - also known as DC link capacitors - are filled with polyurethane and epoxy resin. They are used for inverters, UPS, wind energy, solar power and drive technology. Hydra DC-Link capacitors are available in different versions - according to customer requirements and needs.
PFC capacitors
Machines generate reactive power, which places a load on the grid. To reduce this, capacitors are used for power factor correction (PFC). The capacitors are filled with gas or oil and are particularly safe thanks to overpressure protection. Hydra manufactures cylindrical PFC capacitors with 1 or 3 phases and up to 50 kvar.
