Wattstopper - PIR (Passive Infra Red) Sensor

Presence-based lighting control in outdoor spaces. Ideal to provide light on footpaths and cycle paths according to demand.

On-demand light without the need to network the lights for it.

The Wattsoppter is a PIR sensor designed for outdoor use. With the help of the Wattstopper your public lighting then lights when it is needed. I.e. little light when no one is present and dimmed up when pedestrians or cyclists need light.

Advantages

  • Minimizes light pollution
  • Reduces energy consumption
  • Easy installation & commissioning (ZD4i or DALI)

Additionally

  • Increases subjective sense of security because light is available when needed

Light on the move - for sidewalks and bike paths

With the Wattstopper motion sensor (PIR) can be reduced in low-traffic, quiet environments in the simplest way the light.

As soon as the PIR sensor detects pedestrians or cyclists, the light is dimmed up. The commissioning is uncomplicated via app via smartphone.
