New Managing Director for the Smart City and Lighting division
Philippe Kleiber will officially take over as "Managing Director Smart City and Light" from Peter Schwägli, who has shaped the division for over a decade with great commitment, vision and innovative strength, as of 01.01.2026. We would like to thank Peter warmly for his work and are delighted that he will continue to contribute his expertise to ELEKTRON AG. At the same time, we would like to extend a warm welcome to Philippe and look forward to the new year.

Welcome to Team Light, Philippe
Philippe Kleiber has many years of broad-based experience in the lighting and electrical industry. Most recently, he was Managing Director of the Swiss Lighting Company (SLG). In this role, he built up a strong network in the industry and provided important impetus for sustainable, energy-efficient lighting.
With Philippe, the lighting team is in a great position for future challenges. I look forward to many more successful and exciting years for Philippe and the whole team.
Thanks to his professional background, Philippe Kleiber knows the lighting industry from the perspective of both a luminaire manufacturer and a lighting design service company and is therefore ideally qualified for his new role. His management style is characterized by appreciation, trust and a holistic view of people, organizations and processes.
"I have great respect for my new role - especially when I see what Peter has built up here. At the same time, I am very pleased with the excellent starting position: we have a strong team and a well-positioned department. This gives us the basis to tackle the big issues of the future."
